Much Wenlock
is an attractive small town / large village, with a rich history. Its main claim to fame is as the birthplace of the modern Olympics. Much Wenlock has a well marked Olympic trail, which takes approx. half an hour to walk. It is also the start/finish for some lovely longer walks. The town is also an excellent place to visit a pub, have lunch or stay the night.
My choice:
Pubs - the George and Dragon, High Street.
Eateries - The Fox, G&D (see above), The Raven
Stay over - The Raven, Wenlock Pottery B&B, the Manor House, The Fox
Groups - Stokes Barn

The Walks:
Wenlock Circuit
Arlescott Circuit
